Keele University, in association with Bayer Pharmaceuticals, approached Exesios to develop a dynamic user-friendly interface for a new training tool for pharmacists.
Keele University
A virtual reality teaching aid to support best practices in pharmacy
The tool incorporates 3D animation, providing users with an immersive experience as ‘virtual’ patients appear at the counter seeking their prescription.
A series of multiple choice questions then guide the pharmacist through the correct dispensing procedure, testing and reinforcing their knowledge of best practices along the way.
The solution is fully flexible, with the option to add patient notes and other resources to create a unique learning experience. The results of each case are recorded and saved for subsequent printing or storage.
Exesios offer a rare blend of technical expertise, highly talented design skills and marketing know-how. I've worked with the team since Nov 2011 on a range of projects from responsive websites to mobile apps. I've found all the team at Exesios are a pleasure to work with and I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
